Most SF brands get their first shift filled within 2–3 hours of posting. We have 78 active ambassadors across the Bay Area. For same-week events, post at least 48 hours in advance. Our current SF fill rate is 98%.

Shelvian ambassadors are authorized at Whole Foods, Rainbow Grocery, Bi-Rite Market, Sprouts, Mollie Stone's, The Real Food Company, and 100+ additional specialty retailers across the Bay Area. If your target store isn't listed, contact us — we add new doors monthly.

You can ship samples directly to the ambassador's address, which they provide in-app. Alternatively, ambassadors can pick up product at the store if you have a receiving-team relationship there. We recommend direct-to-ambassador for the smoothest experience — most Bay Area ambassadors confirm receipt within 24 hours of shipping.

Every completed event generates a GPS-stamped arrival confirmation, setup photo, 2–3 mid-event photos, close-out photo, estimated samples distributed, consumer feedback notes, and a shareable PDF receipt. All of this is in your dashboard within 2 hours of the event ending.

SF minimum wage is $18.67/hr (2026). The Shelvian platform minimum for ambassador shifts in SF is $19/hr. Average SF ambassador pay is $24/hr. Premium shifts at high-demand stores like Bi-Rite or Rainbow Grocery typically pay $26–30/hr and fill within minutes of posting.

Our show rate in SF is 98%. In the rare case of a no-show, we auto-fill from a standby waitlist within 2 hours, issue you a brand credit for the inconvenience, and the ambassador receives a penalty strike. Three strikes results in permanent removal from the platform. You're never left without coverage.
